Compound Lactic Acid Ointment

Pharmacological action

Compound Lactic Acid Ointment has obvious inhibitory effect on skin keratin hyperplasia, can make the thickened skin keratin fall off, thin, restore normal stratum corneum, and has antipruritic effect.

Lactic acid weakens the mutual attraction between the positively and negatively charged groups of stratum corneum cells and keratinocytes by inhibiting ionic bond forming enzymes, thereby reducing the cohesion between stratum corneum cells.

Urea has a significant hydrating and moisturizing effect, which can increase the water content of skin keratinocytes and keep the skin moist. The combination of lactic acid and urea exerts a synergistic effect, which can enhance the curative effect.
